Business Developer Lighting - London

BuzziSpace is looking for a Business Developer Lighting - London.

Your main role is to drive sales of BuzziSpace Acoustical Lighting Products through a variety of channels including distributors, dealers, designers, end users and architects and to boost sales growth for Acoustical lighting in the London area. You build relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long term business partnerships with a primary focus on lighting designers and lighting dealers.You will be part of an international team based in London.

Role & responsibilities

  • You are in direct contact with BuzziSpace distributors and understand the needs of their business
  • You maintain existing relationships with lighting designers, architects and lighting company owners
  • You coordinate activities as required for road shows, workshops, training, trade shows and demonstrations together with the marketing team
  • You are in direct contact with lighting designers to drive product specifications
  • You create quotas, budgets and business plans, you maintain margins and business ethics
  • You will be inspirational in building relationships with existing owners, production managers, concert promoters and system engineers
  • You drive a customer base necessary to meet all sales forecasts and budgets
  • You prospect for new business and you prepare proposals, quotations and close the deal
  • You are an adviser to our Product Development team based on your thorough understanding of customer needs and competitive offerings
  • You supply timely market intelligence and forecasts to the management when required
  • You share and supervise best practices with fellow sales people, business segments and management
  • You will be an inspirational Brand Ambassador
  • You participate in local and international exhibitions and trade shows
  • You will work together with the Sales Director UK to develop and execute the sales plan and you are responsible for reporting your success.


  • You can look back at a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a sales role preferably in lighting and/or the lighting design industry
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and other software useful in the position
  • Residential or commercial lighting sales experience in addition to strong industry relationships is preferred
