Manager, Strategic Partnerships - New York

BuzziSpace is looking for a Manager, Strategic Partnerships - New York.

To support the dynamic growth and expansion of our North American market, the Manager, Strategic Partnerships will assist to generate current projects, promote the BuzziSpace brand and maintain smooth commercial operations with partnership accounts.

This position will report to the National Sales Director and be based in New York, NY.

Role & responsibilities 

  • Lead the internal and external coordination in support of BuzziSpace strategic partnership accounts
  • Collaborate within BuzziSpace global team to create a positive experience for our partners and customers
  • Develop annual strategic plan for partnership accounts to meet sales budgets
  • Manage training calendars and rotating communications to partners
  • Develop and support business activities in cooperation with partners
  • Monitor and liaise with all parties involved in global accounts + projects
  • Maintain an active opportunity pipeline of at least 2x sales goal
  • Oversee opportunity management and reporting of sales figures provided by partners
  • Adhere to processes for design services, custom requests, sampling and large projects
  • Achieve expert level BuzziSpace brand and product knowledge
  • Learn and master all BuzziSpace acoustic tools and presentations
  • Build and sustain industry networks by participating in professional organizations – IIDA, ASID, CoreNet, etc.
  • 50% Travel regionally and nationally with requirement for international travel at least one time per year

Your profile

  • Self-organized and able to work autonomously & Ability to coach Reports from afar
  • Enjoys working with Cross Cultural & Multi-Functional Teams
  • Contract/Commercial Furniture Industry Knowledge
  • 8 Years Experience in the Contract Furniture industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Marketing, Business or Interior Design
  • MS Office Suite, CRM tool experience
  • Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning
  • Motivation for Sales, Meets Sales Goals
  • Excellent Presentation Skills, Professionalism
  • Industry & Trend Awareness, Design Knowledge & Appreciation
