Regional Inside Sales Associate - New York

To support our growing sales organization in North America, we are looking for a Regional Inside Sales As-sociate in New York. 

As Regional Inside Sales Associate you are responsible to follow-up on possible leads together with the Field sales team. You pro-actively support our independent representatives to monitor their outstanding quotes and projects as well as facilitate day to day needs to help close business. Together with the Regional Sales Manager you will follow-up on markets that need special attention. 

The position is located full time at our NYC Sh’Office and closely cooperates with our customer service and logistics team located in Winston Salem (NC) and with our Headquarters in Kontich (Belgium). You will report to our Regional Sales Manager East, based in NYC.

What you’ll do here? 

  • Together with the field sales team, you will drive sales of BuzziSpace products in North America and ensure high customer satisfaction 
  • You follow-up on potential leads and inform sales, customers service and stake holders on progress 
  • You track sales opportunities and assist with forecasting using CRM Dynamics 
  • You are a BuzziSpace solutions expert able to make recommendations to meet customer needs 
  • You help formulate project proposals and selling tools and coordinate furniture consignment sales samples when needed
  • You assist our Field sales team in following-up on custom made requests and tracking and overseeing of large projects and orders 
  • You manage the day to day operations of the NY Sh’Office 
  • You help with sales training, event planning, showroom visitors, sample packages and presentations as needed

We’d love to hear from you if … 

  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in selling and servicing customers in high-design office and hospitality furnishings 
  • You have a strong understanding of sales processes and navigating sales | service opportunities and issues 
  • You can understand the customer’s needs and offer solutions 
  • You are comfortable and enthusiastic in leading presentations and training sessions 
  • You are a positive team player who is also able to work independently 
  • You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, personable, resourceful, a proactive thinker, organized and a good problem solver 
  • You have a can-do service mentality and a commercial mind 
  • You are a self-starter, a good planner and able to prioritize workload 
  • You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to call and connect with (potential) customers 
  • You have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Dynamics,Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) 
  • Marketing | Graphics + CAD experience is helpful 
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and bid packages 
  • You walk the talk regarding “happy and healthy workspaces”
