Regional Sales Manager Northeast - Boston/Philadelphia/DC

BuzziSpace is looking for a Regional Sales Manager Northeast, working from Boston, Philadelphia or DC.

To support the dynamic growth and expansion of our North American market, the Regional Sales Manager Northeast will lead their team to new opportunities and support current projects within the territory served by indirect & direct sales.

This position will report to the National Sales Director and be based in Boston, Philadelphia or DC.

Role and responsibilities

  • Lead a team of direct & indirect sales professionals within the defined Western Region
  • Collaborate within BuzziSpace global team to create a positive experience for our partners and customers
  • Develop an annual strategic plan for the region and its territories to meet sales targets
  • Ensure smooth execution of the sales cycle by coaching a consultative approach
  • Develop and support business activities targeting A&D, Dealer, PM Firm & End User Accounts
  • Manage a regional roster of global Key Accounts
  • Maintain an active opportunity pipeline of at least 2x regional sales goal
  • Achieve expert level BuzziSpace brand and product knowledge
  • Learn and master all BuzziSpace acoustic tools and presentations
  • Promote the BuzziSpace brand by coordinating and leading corporate and in market training, site/showroom tours, as well as local/national marketing events
  • Build and sustain industry networks by participating in professional organizations – IIDA, ASID, CoreNet, etc.
  • Oversee opportunity specification, quoting and presales activity in partnership with the Sales Support team
  • Train and monitor adherence to processes for design services, custom requests, sampling, and large projects
  • 50% Travel regionally and nationally with requirement for international travel at least one time per year

Your profile

  • Experienced Sales Team Leader
  • Self-organized and able to work autonomously & Ability to coach Reports from afar
  • Enjoys working with Cross-Cultural & Multi-Functional Teams
  • Contract/Commercial Furniture Industry Knowledge
  • 8 Years of Sales Experience in the Contract Furniture industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Marketing, Business or Interior Design
  • MS Office Suite, CRM tool experience
  • Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning
  • Motivation for Sales, Meets Sales Goals
  • Excellent Presentation Skills, Professionalism
  • Industry & Trend Awareness, Design Knowledge & Appreciation
