BuzziPlanter is an upholstered acoustic plant pot designed to combine natural foliage with sound-absorbing upholstery. Featuring a dense foam core encased in high-performance textiles, BuzziPlanter absorbs ambient speech chatter, divides open floors, and introduces biophilic design elements to corporate offices, reception areas, and hospitality spaces.
BuzziPlanter features a durable, leak-proof interior plastic liner designed to hold potted office plants and indoor foliage. Combining living plants with sound-absorbing upholstery can support biophilic design goals and introduce a sense of visual warmth to indoor spaces.
Constructed with a thick acoustic foam body, BuzziPlanter captures mid-to-high-frequency speech noise (500Hz to 4000Hz). Placed along walkways or between desk banks, it interrupts direct sound paths and dampens room echo across open layouts.
Define architectural pathways without hard walls. Group multiple BuzziPlanter units together to form natural acoustic partitions, frame reception waiting areas, or subtly divide open-plan floors into distinct working and collaboration zones.
Specify proportioned planters for varied foliage and floor plans. Available in multiple height and width configurations to suit various plant sizes and room proportions.
Specify BuzziPlanter in a wide palette of high-performance BuzziSpace fabrics and vibrant colorways. Choose subtle earthy tones to emphasize its biophilic connection or bold primary colors to create eye-catching focal points.
Freestanding acoustic planter tested under EN-ISO 354:2003 by Peutz Laboratory. Combining upholstered high-density foam with a generous planter design, its substantial volume delivers exceptional broadband sound absorption directly at floor level, achieving 1.65 Sabins at 125 Hertz, 2.62 Sabins at 250 Hertz, 2.62 Sabins at 1 Kilohertz, and 2.64 Sabins at 4 Kilohertz per element (BuzziPlanter 90). Uniquely effective at trapping lower-frequency rumbles as well as mid-range speech noise, its acoustic impact scales across various sizes, allowing biophilic greenery and room conditioning to integrate seamlessly without occupying wall or ceiling space.
