Designed by Alain Gilles, BuzziVault Light transforms the ceiling into both a source of atmosphere and acoustic performance. Inspired by the timeless elegance of vaulted architecture, its sculptural curved form brings softness, depth, and architectural presence to commercial interiors while seamlessly integrating high-performance lighting and sound absorption. More than a lighting fixture, BuzziVault Light creates a layered ceiling experience, where indirect glow, direct illumination, and acoustic comfort work together to shape how a space feels.

Light That Defines Space

Great lighting should do more than illuminate; it should shape the atmosphere. BuzziVault Light combines two lighting effects within one architectural ceiling element, creating both visual warmth and practical performance.

Indirect Illumination: Light traces the curve of the vaulted form from above, creating a soft, atmospheric glow that enhances depth and architectural volume.

Direct Lighting: Focused downlight delivers practical, flicker-free illumination for workstations, hospitality spaces, lobbies, and collaborative environments.

Acoustic Comfort from Above

BuzziVault Light is engineered to absorb mid- to high-frequency noise while improving how sound behaves in a room. By improving speech clarity and reducing reverberation, BuzziVault Light creates quieter, calmer, and more productive interiors.

Sculptural Presence

The vaulted form introduces a sense of openness, rhythm, and visual softness that flat ceiling systems cannot achieve.

For a sharper architectural expression, the optional black metal deco spine highlights the panel’s curved profile with strong visual contrast and material definition.

This detail adds refinement while creating seamless continuity when combining BuzziVault Light with BuzziVault in the same ceiling composition. Together, they form a unified architectural language across lighting and acoustic zones.

Circular by Design

BuzziVault Light is designed with circularity in mind from the very beginning. Crafted from recycled PET felt, key materials and components are thoughtfully designed to support easier disassembly and more responsible end-of-life material recovery, ensuring performance and sustainability work together.

BuzziVault Light absorbs noise and helps manage how sound moves through a space. While flat reflective ceilings allow sound waves to bounce directly back into the room, BuzziVault Lights’s arched geometry encourages sound scattering, helping reduce flutter echo and directional reflections that contribute to auditory clutter. Engineered specifically for mid-to-high frequency absorption, BuzziVault Light improves speech clarity and acoustic comfort in open-plan offices, lobbies, and hospitality environments where noise management is essential. Volumetric Advantage: The hollow arched form provides greater active surface area per square meter than a standard flat panel, increasing the total Equivalent Sound Absorption Area (Aeq) and improving overall acoustic performance.
