Designed by Alain Gilles, BuzziTent Light transforms the ceiling into both a source of comfort and performance. Inspired by the relaxed atmosphere of French guinguettes, where simple overhead structures create intimacy and shelter, it combines acoustic absorption and architectural lighting in one sculptural suspended solution.

Light That Shapes Atmosphere

Lighting changes how a space feels. BuzziTent Light gives designers direct control over that experience. By adjusting the distance between the integrated LED Line Glow 140 and the PET felt structure, the quality of light shifts naturally.

Diffuse: Increase the distance for a soft, ambient glow that creates warmth and comfort.

Direct: Bring the light closer for a more focused beam suited to task lighting and functional workspaces.

This flexibility allows one ceiling solution to support multiple moods and uses.

Designed for Acoustic Comfort

BuzziTent Light is engineered to absorb mid-to-high frequency noise, the range most responsible for distraction and speech disruption in open-plan spaces. Its suspended geometry creates a natural acoustic cavity that helps reduce reverberation and improve speech clarity, making workplaces, hospitality venues, and collaborative environments feel calmer and more productive. Acoustic comfort happens overhead, exactly where sound builds most.

The sculptural, tent-like silhouette introduces rhythm, softness, and architectural identity to the ceiling plane.

Whether installed as a singular focal point or repeated in sequence, BuzziTent Light helps define zones, guide movement, and create a stronger emotional connection to the space below.

Circular by Design

BuzziTent Light is designed with circularity at its core. Made from 60% recycled PET felt, the solution can be disassembled and recycled, ensuring every component can be separated and re-enter the material stream at the end of its life cycle.

Continuous Ceiling Composition

Using the optional black ridge and connector system, BuzziTent Light can extend beyond a single fixture into a continuous architectural ceiling installation. Panels can be linked with 30 cm spacing, creating a unified suspended composition that adds rhythm, structure, and visual continuity across the entire space.
