BuzziTent Light features a pitched, tent-like acoustic canopy engineered to absorb speech frequencies and control reverberation in open-plan spaces. Suspended over collaboration zones or workstation clusters, it delivers focused downlighting and sound absorption without requiring permanent walls.
BuzziTent Light combines high-performance sound absorption with an integrated LED light source. Its thick upholstered canopy traps mid-to-high-frequency speech noise right above team tables, eliminating the need for separate acoustic baffles and lighting fixtures.
By adjusting the distance between the integrated LED Line Glow 140 and the PET felt structure, the quality of light shifts naturally.
Diffuse: Increase the distance for a soft, ambient glow that creates warmth and comfort.
Direct: Bring the light closer for a more focused beam suited to task lighting and functional workspaces.
Suspended directly over noisy work areas, BuzziTent Light’s angled sides capture rising speech tones and absorb sound waves on both internal and external surfaces. This mitigates room reverberation, creating a quieter, more focused working atmosphere.
The sculptural suspended form creates visual rhythm while helping define workstations, meeting areas, and collaborative spaces without adding walls.
Made from 60% recycled PET Felt, BuzziTent Light is fully disassemblable and designed for easier recycling at the end of its lifecycle.
Using the optional black ridge and connector system, BuzziTent Light can extend beyond a single fixture into a continuous architectural ceiling installation. Panels can be linked with 30 cm spacing, creating a unified suspended composition
Suspended ceiling canopy tested under EN-ISO 354:2003 by Peutz Laboratory. Featuring a thermo-moulded PET construction, it absorbs sound from all angles when hung 500 millimeters from the ceiling—reaching 1.20 Sabins at 1 Kilohertz and up to 1.70 Sabins at 4 Kilohertz per element to control overhead reverberation across speech frequencies.
