CAT E - Kvadrat Memory 2

Kvadrat Memory 2 is an avant-garde, highly textured upholstery fabric designed by Patricia Urquiola for Kvadrat. Positioned in BuzziSpace Category E, this ultra-luxury textile features a unique, permanently creased and crushed surface structure that catches light from every angle, creating a striking three-dimensional play of shade and movement across furniture and architectural acoustic elements.

Woven from 100% Trevira CS flame-retardant polyester, Memory 2 combines a soft, metallic-like sheen with exceptional commercial durability and permanent fire safety. Engineered to maintain its distinct micro-sculpted texture while allowing sound waves to pass freely into internal acoustic cores, Memory 2 transforms quiet zones and seating into expressive design statements.

Note: Memory contains organophosphorus chemicals used as “covered flame retardant” above a level of 1000ppm. Therefore, this fabric can’t be used as upholstery cover material in US states that require compliance with California Assembly Bill No. 2998.
