BuzziCactus

Playful freestanding acoustic room divider featuring iconic, plant-inspired silhouettes.

BuzziCactus is a playful acoustic office divider that combines sound absorption, flexible space division and a pinable surface in one freestanding design. Its rounded cactus-inspired form adds personality while helping create more balanced, comfortable spaces.

Iconic Biophilic Silhouettes

Break away from boring partition screens with three distinct cactus shapes: Gringo, Taco, and Mambo. Used individually or grouped, BuzziCactus introduces a whimsical, warm aesthetic that lifts the mood of any workplace or public lounge.

Speech Privacy

BuzziCactus absorbs mid-to-high frequency sound waves (500Hz to 4000Hz). Positioned between active collaborative zones and quiet work bays, it interrupts direct sound paths and lowers ambient noise levels.

Effortless Freestanding Mobility

Supported by a heavy-duty, low-profile baseplate, BuzziCactus stands securely on any flat floor surface. Easily move individual units around to redirect foot traffic, frame waiting areas, or create informal meeting nooks.

Tackable & Functional Surface

Beyond noise mitigation and room division, BuzziCactus's plush, upholstered exterior doubles as a functional pinboard. Attach inspiration boards, notes, and notices directly to the body with pushpins.

Acoustic Performance

Freestanding acoustic room divider independently tested by Peutz Laboratory according to ISO 354:2003, constructed from high-density foam wrapped in fabric upholstery in playful organic profiles. Its vertical design exposes dual-sided sound-absorbing surfaces to capture ambient noise from all directions, providing effective broadband performance that scales across model geometries. In testing, the BuzziCactus Taco configuration delivers the highest acoustic absorption—achieving 0.20 Sabins at 125 Hertz, 0.40 Sabins at 250 Hertz, 0.80 Sabins at 500 Hertz, 1.20 Sabins at 1 Kilohertz, and 2.00 Sabins at 4 Kilohertz per element (with TexMex reaching 1.60 Sabins at 2 Kilohertz and Gringo reaching 1.80 Sabins at 4 Kilohertz). Positioned throughout open environments, it breaks up visual sightlines and dampens speech reverberation without building fixed partition walls.
